Christmas Fabrics

 

Christmas in Australia is hot.  It's all about sunshine, swimming pools and the beach.  So most of the Christmas fabrics are irrelevant to us....but....I actually love some of the snowmen and snow.  I think it makes us cool down (maybe) This year I have made some lovely bunting from the Holiday Frost range by Jan Shade Beach for Henry Glass & Co (her name sounds like an Aussie Summer) the colours are lovely and look great on my fireplace and next to the Xmas Tree.  Merry Christmas to all :)

The purple La Virgencita top is available at my stockist now.  I have just finished the black La Virgin de la Caridad this morning.  It will be at Hopscotch, Brisbane, tomorrow.  I am waiting on fabric for both prints in different colour backgrounds.  La Virgin de la Caridad will also be available with a teal background.  The La Virgencita will be available in a fushia and a white background.  I will advise when these are available on my facebook page and my website www.mugwacottage.com.au:)

New Festival Clothing made this week!

Sunflowers are still selling well at Hopscotch, Brisbane City.  I have ordered some more fabric but most of the stores I buy from have sold out (to me!!)

 

I have also found some more Sunflowers with the blue and red background so will get them made up in the Crop Tee's and Halter Tops customers are waiting for.  Also found some other cute sunflower prints so they with be in store before Xmas!!

Love these large Strawberry prints.  This peasant top will be at Hopscotch next week.

Retro Reversible Halter also at Hopscotch next week.  Reverse fabric is the same red dot as waistband.

Retro Sets are selling well at Hopscotch.  I can not keep up the demand!  I have just cut out the Strawberry with a white background. Hopefully,  I will finish it over the weekend.  Should be available at Hopscotch by end of next week!

I must apologise to all my quilting and homewares customers for not making any new quilts, pillows or bags lately.  I am still sewing madly for the city boutique that is stocking my handmade clothing.  I have so many quilts cut out or half sewn but nothing finished sorry.  I have some lovely Xmas fabrics for quilts so I am hoping to get them finished this Christmas (not next)!!
