New Handmade Goodies in Store

Fa la la la la Raggy Quilt

Well I am trying to get into Christmas mode but it always comes around way too quick for me!!  This is the first of a few Christmas quilts I have planned for this year.  Fa la la la la is a lovely quilt that could be used all year round.  The colours are very muted, greens, turkey reds and oyster greys.  Now back to making bags for Xmas pressies.  Rob

Windsor Lane Quilt & Clancey-Rose

I love to receive feedback from my wonderful customers.  It is always lovely to know someone is using your quilts/bags etc.  Clancey-Rose was given my Windsor Lane Cot Quilt by a very special friend and her mum sent me this beautiful photo.  (I have permission from mum to use this photo:) So I had to share it cause it was so sweet!!

Headed to Aratula (Qld) yesterday to drop off some new goodies to the lovely Homespun store on the Cunningham Hwy.  I love the drive from Beaudesert to Boonah (detour to Aratula) then onto Rathdowney (so do a gazillion motorbike riders) the countryside is just beautiful.  Even after no or little rain the rolling hills and mountains are lovely.  So if you go for a country drive head to Aratula to check out Homespun, little cafe next door makes yummy toasted sandwiches (I'm addicted to toasted sandwiches) Antique Store and fruit shop up the road.  Also fruit and veges for sale at farm gates so good to support the local Farmers!!! Take an esky on your drive for your fruit and veges and the wines you buy from the local wineries.  Stop at Rathdowney Pub for proper burgers or steak sandwich (not like maccas rubbish) it is a great country pub usually a few characters at the bar!  Sounding like the local Tourist Info Officer I know, but I love the area and love living in it!  OK back to my homemade wares - photos above of new goodies for sale at Homespun.  They are having a 1st Birthday Market Day on 1st December with handmade stalls, Sausage sizzle etc so if you are out that way check it out!! regards Rob
