Handmade Cards
I have met a lovely cardmaker in my local village and wanted to show everyone the beautiful easel cards she makes. I am selling her cards for $7 but my daughters and I have already purchased most of them for decorations not cards!!!!!!!
So I will nag Shari to make some more! She tells me she also makes them with shoes and owls so I will let you know when they are available. Rob

Red Roses in Paris Quilt
I saw this quilt in an American Mag in blue and white. It is sooooo easy to make and you can choose the size of the nine patch to suit your taste. Mine is quite large because the fabrics are so lovely that I wanted to show off as much of the print as I could. So make a nine patch in whatever size you prefer then make the large block the same size and continue on with whatever size quilt you want. If you do a quick sketch on a pad u will work out how much of each print you will need. Remember most fabrics are 112cm or 44 inches wide.
I have also purchases some rich indigo blue and matching tan to make another version of this quilt. So that will probably be finished by 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!
Night Before Christmas BOM
Block 2 of the Night Before Christmas Quilt.
Sometimes I wonder why I sign up to Block of the Months, because I am always behind on each block. This quilt could (should) have been completed before Xmas 2011 but here I am in March and just finished Block 2!!!! But it is lovely to grab a block with the pattern, correct fabric all included and do a block whenever it suits you. I keep all my BOM in a basket and plod along at my own pace. I have just finished the applique on block 3 so when I finish the stitching I will post a picture of it on this blog. Hopefully, this quilt will be finished by Xmas 2012.
